Fuse

What it is

Fuse splits a large file download in half: one half comes over Wi-Fi, the other over cellular, and the halves are joined into the exact same file.

How to use

1. Settings → Fuse → turn on Bond downloads (it starts off)
2. Stay on Wi-Fi with cellular data allowed
3. Download a file (zip, video, ipa, and similar) in an app

Honest limits

BETA. Verified on iOS 17.1 with a 10 MB test file. Works for apps that use Apple's standard networking — Safari and web pages stay on the normal path. Small requests, compressed responses and servers without range support use one link. Uses cellular data.
