What it is
Mosaic is CarterWare’s Home Screen layout tweak for Dopamine rootless. It combines grids, free placement, and Xen/Zen-style HTML art on Lock and Home — starting with SampleClock.
Main features
- Grids for Home, Dock, and Folders — columns and spacing that look stock-custom
- Free placement with snap + align guides (turn off Atria / Griddy / Boxy first)
- HTML art on Lock and Home — Xen / Zen-style packs, starting with SampleClock
- Floating editor chip when you want to drag — and a setting to hide it
- HomeClean merge coming — page vault + hide into one home product
How to use
- Open Settings → Mosaic
- Set Lock + Home backgrounds to SampleClock (or your pack)
- Tap Apply Layout (or respring)
- For free place: disable conflicting layout tweaks → enable Floating Editor → drag → Apply Layout
Tips
- Empty widget picker usually means only SampleClock is staged — drop more packs in Filza, then pick again
- Soft-disables layout hooks when Atria / Griddy / Boxy / FreeformGrid are present
- Dock columns stay separate from home columns
Honest limits
BETA. Widgets and Home edit UI are still being burned in — SampleClock + grids are the reliable start. Expect rough edges while Mosaic 2 ships fast.
